The process of using an ecoATM is simple.

1. Prepare Your Phone: This involves removing all personal information from your device and doing a factory reset. Don’t forget to charge it before you bring it in, too. EcoATM’s website answers common questions about how you can prepare your phone the right way.
2. Get an Offer: The kiosk will evaluate your device and make an offer based on what kind of condition it’s in and its market value. You’ll see an offer on screen, and you can choose to accept it or not. If you don’t accept the offer, the ecoATM will return your phone to you.
3. Verify Your Identity: You need to be at least 18 years old to sell your phone this way. The kiosk will scan your driver’s license or other form of state ID to verify your identity and age.
